Non perdono tempo le Sugababes,nonostante il discreto successo di Change (uscito soltanto l’anno scorso) il 20 ottobre pubblicheranno il sesto studio album “Catfights and Spotlights”. Le 3 ragazze hanno promesso che il sound del nuovo album sarà diverso da quello precedente piu ispirato al funky e dalle atmosfere leggermente più malinconiche  e dark. Il nuovo sound delle Sugababes, si puo già apprezzarlo dal primo singolo “Girls”, un pezzo molto funky pop (forse anche troppo!!). Non so voi, ma personalmente mal digerisco l’ascolto di questa canzone, sarà forse che il gruppo londinese ci ha abituato a canzone dal facile impatto emotivo? o semplicemente ci vogliono più ascolti? non saprei…Senza ombra di dubbio va riconosciuto il merito alle Sugababes di riuscire ogni volta a  rinnorsi e di sperimentare cose nuove, senza  fossilizzarsi sempre sullo stesso genere. Vedremo se qusta nuova via musicale protera fortuna alle tre ragazzee. Vi lascio alla visione del video, anche esso sotto tono rispetto ai lavori precedenti….
