Eccola, finalmente dopo anni di gavetta tra cinema e tv Jennifer Hundson fa il suo debutto nel mondo della musica con il suo primo inedito “Spotlight” che anticipa l’album omonimo in uscita fine settembre. Come detto in precedenza,era da tanto che si parlava di un disco della bella Jennifer, ma a causa di imprevisti o impegni derivati dalla sua carriera cinematografica il progetto era sempre stato rimandato, pergiunta una prima bozza del disco fu completamente cestinata perchè ricordava troppo lo stile Aretha Franklin ( secondo i ben informati). Ma torniamo ai giorni nostri e alla nuova canzone  vede la produzione del duo norvegese

“Stargate” e del cantante Ne-Yo che negli ultimi anni hanno firmato i successi di Beyoncè ( Irrepleceable) e ultimamente Take a Bow di Rihanna. Il brano all’ascolto risulta molto piacevole e trasmette calma e spensieratezza, forse poco adatto al periodo estivo fossi stato io l’avrei fatto uscire in settembre  per poi far diventare la canzone una hit nel periodo invernale ( come fu No One di Alicia Keys), da notare che il pezzo oscura tantissimo la potenza vocale di Jennifer, speriamo che nell’album in uscita ci siano pezzi che le diano

maggior possibilita di mostare la sua voce potente. Nel video Jennifer appare molto carina, anche se ancora un pò grossa! Ma bisogna dire che sta benissimo cosi! Ed è dimagrita tantissimo rispetto a qualche anno fa. Se guardate attentamente il video vi accorgerete  che viene ripresa svariate volte una bottiglia di Campar,un nuovo modo di fare pubblicità?? vi lascio alla visione….
