Dopo il mezzo flop di “Right WHere You Want me” ci riprova con un nuovo disco in uscita il 20 di maggio l’idolo delle ragazzine Jesse McCartney. Il cantante/attore per questo comeback ha deciso completamente di rinnovarsi , dimenticate perciò il suo caschetto biondo e la musica teen pop! Jesse si ripresenta con i capelli castati e un pop che strizza l’occhio alle sonorita r&b,infatti tra i produttori di questo nuovo album figurano anche The-Dream and J. R. Rotem,artefici del successo di Umbrella cantata da Rihanna!.

Il primo singolo ad anticipare Departure è Leavin, una traccia abbastanza coinvolgente e molto mainstream che potrebbe aprire molte porte a jesse nel mondo della musica pop,dove ancora non è riuscito ad emergere del tutto. Il video è stato girato il 17 febbraio e ha scatanato diverse polemiche. E’ stato considerato da molti troppo sexy è spregiudicato tanto da essere subito eliminato dalla playlist della tv Disney Channel,di cui Jesse faceva parte tempo fa!…vi lascio alla visione….
